Martin David “Dave” Scott

Martin David Scott, of Newark Ohio passed away on Friday, July 31st at the age of 64.

Retired Postmaster of Cambridge, serving many years with USPS.

Dave, a son, a husband, a father, a grandpa “Pappy”, a brother and a friend to many who loved him.

A visionary, with many creative pursuits, finding joy in his endeavors. He lived with a spirit of generosity, a heart of extraordinary service and an unfailing willingness to provide.

Survived by his parents Martin “Marty” Scott and Mary Scott, his spouse Sarah Scott, his daughter Jane Alley (Jacob Alley, Cooper Alley, Charles Alley) his son Nelson Scott (Courtney Scott), his siblings Kelly Scott, Dan Scott, Kristine Smith, Mark Scott and his many beloved nieces and nephews.

May he be honored in remembrance for a life of purpose, his dedication to his family and devotion to his faith.

The family asks that Dave’s request be honored- A private family fellowship be held in place of a funeral.
