Mary A. Earhart (September 7, 1924 – March 23, 2012)

Mary A. Earhart, 87, of Zanesville, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at 5:45 p.m. at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born September 7, 1924, in Chandlersville, to the late William Corwin and Lura Barnes Miller. She was a graduate of Salt Creek High School in 1941 and she attended the Meredith Business School. She retired in 1985 after 27 years of service from General Electric as a secretary. Mary was a long time member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Stars Olive Branch Chapter #251.

Surviving are a brother, Joe (Jeanette) Miller of Norwich, Oh; a brother-in-law, Ernie Frazier of Zanesville; a special niece, Kay (Jim) Peters of Woodsfield; a daughter-in-law, Peg Earhart of Zanesville; a special great niece, Kylie (Kent) Keitch of Pickerington; a special great nephew, James (Desiree) Peters of Woodsfield; a special granddaughter, Amy Huey of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband whom she married in 1947, Robert F. Earhart, he died July 22, 1997; a son, Rev. John Robert Earhart, who passed away August 2004; three sisters, Elizabeth Wolfe, Ruth Frazier and Cathryn Frazier; and two brothers-in-law, Ralph Wolfe and Leland Frazier.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. till the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville Oh 43701 with Rev. Joy French officiating. A dignified cremation will follow.
