Mary Catharine Driggs Brown (August 16, 1913 – December 17, 2011)

ZANESVILLE

Mary Catharine Driggs Brown, 98 of Zanesville passed away Saturday December 17, 2011 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born August 16, 1913 in Morgan County, OH a daughter of the late Herbert E. and Lura Ina Folk Driggs. She was a graduate of Crooksville High School; Meredith Business College and retired as a Bookkeeper for Friel Coal Co. Mary was a 60 year member of Brighton Presbyterian Church where she served as Treasurer for 20 years, also serving as a Trustee and Elder.
She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Stewart of Zanesville; two grandchildren Chad Stewart of Los Angeles, CA and Lisa (Jim) Koney of Columbus, OH; two great grandchildren Caitlin and Abigail Koney.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Floyd E. “Ted” Brown; sister Eleanor; two brothers Raymond and Erle and one great grandson Camron Koney.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday December 23, 2011 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE with Rev. Sue Ellen Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call the hour prior to services at the funeral home.
