Mary Enold

Mary Jean Enold, 96, of Byesville, passed away Tuesday (May 21, 2024) at her home.

She was born January 21, 1928 in Shadyside, daughter of the late Arthur Doan and Mary (Hadley) Doan.

Mary had worked at Coney Island for twenty years as a waitress.

She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Byesville.

Mary enjoyed working crosswords and puzzle books, as well as crocheting. She loved to read her Bible daily.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Johnson; her second husband, William H. Enold; three brothers, David Doan, James Doan, and Charles Doan; and three sisters, Alice Fassett, Virginia Purefy, and Effie Huffine.

Mary is survived by a son, Harry R. (& Jackie) Johnson of Florida; three daughters, Sandra (& Clayton) Denbow of Lore City, Kathryn (& David) Klemann of Florida, and Connie (& Mike) Reasoner of Byesville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, is handling arrangements.
