Mary Lou Wisecarver

Mary Wisecarver, 76 of Zanesville passed away 02/10/2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Zanesville on July 24, 1945 to the late Denzil and Cora Lane. Mary worked most of her employment years in home healthcare. Mary loved music; she loved to sing at church, senior citizens center and other functions with her brother Rocky. She was a member of Prospect Methodist Church. She has many dear friends there but adored Pastor Sharon Williamson. She has many great memories playing cards on the weekends with her brothers, sisters and in-laws and often New Year’s Eve. She enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league for years and has many treasured friends from those leagues. Her most treasured time was spent with her family.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Thomas Wisecarver of 59 years who she married on November 23, 1962; Three children Tom (Kim) Wisecarver of Zanesville, Vicky (Kenny) Smith of Roseville, Jamie (Mindy) Wisecarver of Zanesville; Seven grandchildren Justin (Jamie) Wisecarver, Kahlie “Kayla” (Travis) Decker, Brittnay Wisecarver, Branden Wisecarver, Johnathan (Laura) Wisecarver, Logan Wisecarver, Jamie Jr (Khloe) Wisecarver; Six great grandchildren Jayden, Rylan, Landon, Kason, Gracie and Wheeler; her brothers Bill(Ruby) Lane, David (Kris) Lane, Dennis (Mary) Lane; Three sisters Sue Shaw, Judy Huffman and Penny Wade, numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she’s proceeded in death by her eight brothers; John, Ron, Fred, Clarence, Jerry, Denzil “Rocky”, Don and Roy Lane; Two sisters Gladys Lane and Lois Lafferty.

Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday February 14, 2022, and at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE, OH 43701. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022, at 11am in the Chapel with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in St Paul Cemetery.
