Mary Stalnaker

Mary Magdalene “Madge” Stalnaker, 95 of Zanesville, died 11:25 AM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice.
She was born Monday, March 18, 1929, in Dana, KY the daughter of Farley and Ora Akers. She married Robert L. Stalnaker on Thursday, July 21, 1949, who preceded her in death on Thursday, February 18, 1993.

Madge was a cook for many years in the nursing industry. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. Madge was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Madge is survived by three sons: Bobby Stalnaker, Brent Stalnaker and Scott (Lori) Stalnaker all of Zanesville; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stalnaker and eight brothers and sisters.
