Mayor of Dresden Passes Away

DRESDEN, OH – The Mayor of Dresden has passed away.

Ted Crozier passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning.

Crozier was a 1985 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ, Friends of the Dresden Parks, Dresden American Legion Post 399, and Dresden Fire Department for 29 years.

He served on the Dresden Village Council for 15 years, six of those serving as President.

Crozier was elected as the Mayor in 2024 and recently won re-election.

Friends and family may visit 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM, Wednesday, November 12th at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, located at 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 13th at the funeral home.

He was 58-years-old.
