McHenry Wants To Change Murder Plea

A Philo woman who pleaded guilty in the murder of her dad was supposed to be sentenced today…but that won’t happen.  19-year-old Jennifer Lynn McHenry told Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle that she wished to withdraw her plea of guilty of murder.  The Court continued the matter and a hearing is to be scheduled on her withdrawal plea.  McHenry is charged in the shooting death of her dad 56-year-old Donald McHenry.  The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says in June of 2011 they were called to 660 Irish Ridge Road where they found Mr. McHenry in the front yard.  In a 9-1-1 call at the time McHenry says her father tried to kill her.
