Meadowbrook, Morgan, New Lex, Coshocton all pick up first win of the season

SOUTHEAST, Ohio- In it’s first game as a member of the Muskingum Valley league, Meadowbrook coasts to a 83-49 win over Philo.

The Singleton’s led a balanced attack for the Colts. Davis Singleton had 19 points and Jake Singleton added 18 points.

Also making an impact for Meadowbrook was seniors Jerome Todd, with 16 points, and Johna McCall, with 13 points.

Ohio University basketball commit, A.J. Clayton had a game-high 26 points for Philo.

Next on the schedule, Meadowbrook is at West Muskingum on Tuesday (12/8) and Philo is home against Crooksville the same day.

Morgan boys defeated Federal Hocking, 67-53.

After the first quarter the Raiders trailed by four. The next three quarters were all Raiders.

Carver Myers had a game-high 22 points in the winning effort and his teammate Gabe Altier added 14 points.

Morgan is back home Friday (12/4), taking on Tri-Valley.

New Lexington boys picks up a road win, 53-43 over Nelsonville-York

28 points came from Brady Hanson and Lukas Ratliff, who both scored 14 points. Braden Agriesti had 10 points and Logyn Ratliff totaled eight for the Panthers.

New Lex has its home-opener Friday (12/4) against River View.

Coshocton boys defeated Danville, 56-42

The win is the first of the season for Coshocton, who will play its first MVL game Friday (12/4) at home against John Glenn.
