Meet Butters

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center works with many types of dogs that are in need of an owner.  

Today, K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid brought out Butters, making him this week’s dog of the week.

“This is Butters, he came to us in February as an owner release. He is very manageable on a leash when you take him for a walk. He rides very well in a car, good with kids, dogs, and cats. So really, he’s just an all around great dog,” McQuaid said. “The home we feel he would do best in would be someone who would have a fenced in backyard.” 

Butters is a loveable lab mix who loves toys and does well with keeping himself entertained.

“Butters is truly a very affectionate dog that does well with everybody. One of his big things is, he loves to sit on your lap and give you kisses,” McQuaid said.
