Meet Carmelo; This Week’s Dog of the Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – For the dog of the week this week you get to meet a cute dog named Carmelo. WHIZ met with Doug McQuaid who volunteers at the K-9 Adoption Center who introduced us to this affectionate pup who has been at the adoption center since July twenty-second.
“She’s seven years old. She came as an, as a result of her owner passing away. She is already spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. She seems to be dog friendly. A little shy at first when you first approach her but she seems to calm down and as you can tell she becomes very calm. Very friendly. Loves affection. Easy to go for a walk. Someone that would just like to have a sweet companion. Maybe sit beside of you in the chair. ”
McQuaid also took a moment to tell us what the adoption center has planned for next week that Muskingum County residents can look forward to.
“We’re excited. Next weeks the fair. We’ll be right inside the front gate at the sheriff’s tent. We’ll have pictures of all of our dogs that where we have up for adoptions. We’ll be there to answer all and any of your questions. We’re always excited when you stop by and talk to us and show a picture maybe, of your pet. Tell us a story and we just love seeing and talking to everybody so please stop by and see us.”
