Meet Kippy: This Week’s Dog of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH –This week’s K9 Adoption Center’s “Paw-some” Dog of the Week is a cuddle expert with a heart full of love.

Meet Kippy, the one-year-old pup who’s got a tail that never stops wagging and a heart that’s as big as his love for treats. This sweet boy is ready to be your new best friend. He is already neutered, does well in his kennel, appears to be dog friendly and loves everybody he comes in contact with.

Kippy has been hanging out at the Adoption Center since September, patiently waiting for his forever home. He’s a great walking buddy—he won’t pull on the leash, so if you’re an active family who loves strolls around the neighborhood, Kippy’s the dog for you.

With the incoming stormy weather approaching, the K9 adoption center would like to remind everyone now’s it’s a good time to give our furry friends need extra care and comfort during those rainy, stormy nights.

“Often thunderstorms are like fireworks to a pet, and it makes it bad for them, they’re very scared and can go into a panic,” K9 adoption center volunteer Doug McQuaid said. “You want to make sure that all pets are not able to get around a pool, if you can bring them in the house, garage, basement, just somewhere during the time where the storm is the worst.”

If you think Kippy might be the perfect match for you give the K9 Adoption Center a call, or better yet, drop by to meet Kippy in person.
