Meet Willie, This Week’s Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Now it’s time to showcase our pet of the week.

The Animal Shelter in Muskingum County is featuring a one year old Australian Sheep Mix, named Willie. He’s friendly, energetic, and full of life. And for $135 you can take Willie home. He has already been neutered and is up to date with his shots.

“He will be an excellent dog for someone who has a farm. Or out in the country where he can get out, play, and run. That’s what his nature is. He loves to run and he loves to give kisses too,” said Animal Shelter Society Executive Director Jody Murray.

Murray said the shelter is also in desperate need of volunteers on Wednesday nights.

“Right now, we are specially looking for some volunteers that could give a little bit of time on Wednesday evenings with our bingo operation. One of our big needs down there is the concession stand,” said Murray.
