The potential park, proposed by Councilwoman Sandy Gentry, would occupy three acres in Riverside Park.
This Monday, June 13, the Zanesville City Council Public Service Committee invites the public to attend a meeting at Riverside Park to talk about the project and discuss options for the park.
The meeting will take place the 13th at Riverside Park at the first shelter house. It begins at 5pm.
Councilwoman Gentry said the city has budgeted $20,000 for the construction of the park and the rest would be raised from private funds.
