Melissa Marie School of Dance Prepares for Christmas Performance

Melissa Marie School of Dance and other area partners are already preparing for the Christmas Season.

"An All American Christmas" will be performed. The show will be held at Secrest Auditorium on December 20 at 7PM. Tickets will be 1$5 a piece. Melissa Moore, owner of Triple M. Productions told us the show is going to be dedicated to the heroes of our country.

"The goal is to have it dedicated to our troops, and our veterans, and our first responders who help our country out every day and what we really want to try to do is bring, you know a nice holiday feel to those that cannot be at home for Christmas"

The show is going to be broadcast online throughout the country. Moore has also been recently named director of Miss Southeast Ohio and Miss Southeast Ohio Outstanding Teen Pageants. She told us about the new opportunity in the area.

"Miss Southeast Ohio and Miss Southeast Ohio’s Outstanding Teen is new to the area, we just were approved for our local pageant license last evening which we’re really excited about. We’re just bringing back the scholarship program to this community. It will be an open pageant for all contestants ages 13 through 17 for Miss Southeast Ohio Outstanding Teen and also ages 18 to 24 for Miss Southeast Ohio."

The pageants importance is to ensure the role women play in the community. Applications will be accepted beginning November 1st. Only 20 slots will be available per program.
