Melissa “Missy” Wollenberg

Melissa “Missy” Ann Wollenberg, 59, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born On April 21, 1966 in Zanesville, Ohio to Jim and Peggy Jones Fuchs
Missy was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church and loved attending mass, B.P.O.E #509 and Eagles #2070 both of New Lexington, where she built many lasting friendships. Missy worked as an office manager at Keer Automotive for 40 years. A devoted Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengals fan, she never missed a chance to cheer on her teams with enthusiasm. Missy loved her kids, grandkids and family more than anything and cherished every moment spent with them. Whether attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, celebrating with friends, or simply enjoying the little things, she radiated joy and positivity. Her happy spirit, love for life and genuine kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
Survived by Husband of 18 years, Patrick Wollenberg; children, Anthony (Kayla) Bateson, Lacy Bateson and Alyson (Zach) Hahn; grandchildren, Kohen, Kinsley, Hayden, Cruze and Lanie; sisters and brother, Tammy (Mark) Taggart, Angie (Rusty) Howdyshell and Tim Fuchs.
Preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Fuchs
Calling hours will be held from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with wake service at 6:00pm followed by Elks services at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 309 North Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Emmanuel Adu Addai as celebrant.
Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery
