Merle Norman Employee Celebrating 25 Years

A local woman is celebrating her silver anniversary at an area cosmetics store.

Sandy Combs, the manager of the Zanesville Merle Norman has been working there for 25 years now. She told us her experience at the store has been a wonderful one and that the best part of her job has been helping women assess their beauty needs.

"The best part of my job, I think is sitting down at a table with a woman who says, ‘you know, I’ve decided I’m gonna take better care of my skin’. And we go through the process with her, we assess what her needs are, and we tailor a program that’s specifically for her. So I think that’s the best part and a special blessing, all the customers we have here in the Zanesville area."

Combs says she enjoys helping people to feel beautiful. Owner of Merle Norman, Sharon Shaner says that combs has been a valuable asset to their company.

"I know that every customer that comes in, that she waits on as well as our entire staff, they leave with what they need in their bag, thetas going to make them feel better, look better, their skins going to have exactly what it needs because everything’s tailored as she listens to what the customers needs are and then she fulfills those needs."

The staff celebrated with an open house for their customers Friday. Cake, punch and a special gift for early customers. The store will be open and celebrating again tomorrow from 10AM to 4:30PM.
