Michael Foraker

Michael “Mike” Ray Foraker age 65, of Marietta, OH formerly of Caldwell, OH passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at OhioHealth Southeastern Med in Cambridge, OH. He was born September 8, 1959 in Cambridge, son of Mary Lou Gardner Vaughn of Caldwell and the late Bernard R. Foraker.

He was employed at Detroit Diesel in Cambridge. Mike loved traveling and new adventures, especially on his Tri Glide Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife Tamara. He could often be found fishing and collecting guns. Mike was an animal lover, especially his favorite cats.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather George Vaughn.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, are his wife Tamara M. O’Linn Foraker, whom he married June 28, 2014; mother-in-law Linda O’Linn of Marietta; brothers-in-law Tony (Mary Schmidt) O’Linn of Marietta and Todd (Tara Moore) O’Linn of Williamstown, WV. He is also survived by many friends as Mike couldn’t travel anywhere that he didn’t see someone he knew.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will conclude visitation on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. A private burial will be observed by the family in Dudley Cemetery near Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Mike’s Honor to Paws Inc.
