Michigan State Football Coach’s Mom Dies

The mother of Michigan State Football coach Mark Dantonio has died.  91-year-old Maryan Dantonio of Zanesville passed away Monday surrounded by her four sons and family members.  Frank, Mark, John and Mike say their mom is now in a better place with their dad, Justin.  Mrs. Dantonio was a loving and caring wife and mother, thoughtful friend, skilled card player, and one who was always ready to share a joke and enjoy a quick laugh.  She will be missed by everyone.  To honor Mrs. Dantonio’s wishes, she will be cremated without a funeral service and her ashes will be buried next to her husband.
