Mid-East CTC Inducts Distinguished Hall of Fame Candidates

ZANESVILLE, OHIO-Â Each year, Mid-East inducts alumni based on their success, community involvement and accomplishments.
Shannon Kenily, Business, Partnership & Placements Coordinator at Mid-East, said that many alumni said that Mid-East was a turning point in their lives.
“A lot of times they mention that Mid-East staff, especially the instructors have just made a huge difference in their lives in choosing their careers or furthering their education,” said Kenily. Â “It’s really nice to hear that and have them share their fond memories of Mid-East with us.”
The first inductee was Jeff Baker, welding program graduate and Philo High School graduate in 1979.  Baker is the proud owner of Bakers Welding and Crane Service.
The second inductee was Tina Strauss. Â Tina graduated in 1987 from the cosmetology program and Cambridge High School. Â Tina is the owner of Tina Strauss Hair Designs.
“It’s an honor for me to come back here and show people that you can achieve,” said Strauss.
