Mikal J. Ashford 1948 – 2017

Mikal J. Ashford, 69 of Roseville, died 4:35 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Willow Haven Care Center surrounded by his family.

He was born Wednesday, April 7, 1948 in Zanesville, the son of Franklin Ashford and Henrietta (Gillespie) Ashford. He married Jean Ann (Goff) Ashford on Wednesday, April 6, 1994,and was Methodist by Faith.

Mikal, along with his wife, were owners and operators of Bulldog Ministries and Concessions. He enjoyed spreading the word of God while making and selling tee shirts as they traveled across the country. He was an avid fisherman and loved to ride and care for his horses. Mikal was a loving and caring husband to his wife and enjoyed the time he spent with her and his family.

Mikal is survived by his wife Jean of the home; one brother: John (Carol) Ashford of Roseville; one niece: Lori Fowlkes of Roseville; one nephew: James Ashford of Sarasota, FL and one step-daugher: Linda (Mike) Wadel of Green Cove Springs.

In addition to his parents, Mikal was preceded in death by one sister: Betty Ashford and one step-son: Robert David Scaggs.
