Mildred G. Mozena

Mildred Mozena, 85, of Zanesville, died Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room.

Born April 16, 1936 in Coshocton County, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Romine) Graham and a 1954 graduate of Frazeysburg High School.  Mildred retired after 30 years of teaching in the Tri-Valley School District.   She was a lifelong member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her three children, Janet (Steve) Harper of Dresden, John “Jack” (Susan) Mozena of Blue River, KY. and Dennis (Valerie) Mozena of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Phillip, Kimberly, Wesley, Samantha, Thomas and Logan; several great and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Naomi Crown and a brother, Gerald (Judith) Graham.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mozena, who died on August 2, 1987; a son, Thomas G. Mozena; a grandson, Bradley Harper; a sister, Lois Fox and a brother, Wayne Graham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adamsville United Methodist Church, 8065 East Street, Adamsville, Ohio 43802.

Friends and family may call Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 11:00AM till time of service at 1:00PM with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating at the Adamsville United Methodist Church, 8065 East Street, Adamsville, Ohio 43802.

Mildred will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville.
