Miller scores 41 for Crooksville; Lady Bishops advance in the tournament; Bishops chance to win falls short

It was a wild night of high school basketball on Thursday. Crooksville took down West Muskingum, 78-71, thanks to 41 points by, Caden Miller.
A new career high for Miller also breaks his sister, Carson’s, record.
The Lady Bishops of Rosecrans were taking on Steubenville Catholic Central in tournament action. Behind 22 points from, Kailey Zemba, the Lady Bishops win 48-37.
Rosecrans will return to tournament action on Saturday at Shadyside.
The Bishop Rosecrans boys basketball team fell at home to Licking Valley, 52-50. The Bishops trailed by 11 at one point in the third quarter but ,Weston Nern, hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 43 going into the fourth quarter.
Down two with two seconds left, the Bishops unable to make the tying bucket and send the game to overtime.
Carson Conley had 22 points for Licking Valley. Nern led the Bishops with 17.
