Millersport Woman Killed in Accident

Lancaster–The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol said a Millersport woman was killed in an accident Friday morning.

The accident took place at 8:43am on Canal Road in the area of Lake Road. Authorities said 23-year-old Lydia Rose Dupler was pronounced deceased at the scene. The patrol said Dupler was traveling west on Canal Road when the vehicle drove off the left side of the roadway, striking an embankment, a fence, a tree and then overturned.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Walnut Township Fire Department, Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation.
