Miracle on Main Street Tomorrow night
This year’s Miracle on Main street is taking shape as a Storybook Christmas.
Over 50 businesses will be participating this year, and the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce asked each one to pick their favorite Christmas story book and decorate with that theme in mind. It all is happening Wednesday night starting at 5 p.m.
"It’s a good thing, Dana Matz said. "Check out all the buildings in downtown that have been improved, to see the business people that day in and day out work hard in the downtown businesses to support our community and just get into the old fashioned holiday spirit."
To add to the annual event the courthouse will be given a bigger than usual makeover. Dana Matz, the Member Services Coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce said people are in for a surprise when the light show starts at 6:30 tomorrow night.
"This is the first year for this light show," Matz said. "In the past it’s just been the traditional put the strings of lights out, but we’re going to surprise people in the evening and let them see and hear a show featuring the courthouse."
The show will run through January 3. The show will run from 6:00 to 8:00 each night until then. Miracle on Main Street goes until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
