Missing Chauncey Girl Found Safe

***UPDATE 6:30 p.m.***

Police have located a 9-year-old Chauncey girl who went missing Thursday. According to police, Haley Bedsole was located in a field near Chauncey around 6:30 p.m. and is safe.

The Athens County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing 9-year-old girl from Chauncey.

The sheriff’s office said Haley Bedsole was last seen around 12:30 Thursday afternoon near Elm Street in Chauncey wearing a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored shorts. She was carrying a multi-colored backpack and large duffel bag. She is described as being 4 feet tall and 82 pounds with brown hair in a pony tail.
