Mona Romine

Mona S. Romine, age 80, of Hopewell, died at 8:25 AM, Friday, January 22, 2021, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH.

She was born Saturday, November 16, 1940, in Rushville, OH, the daughter of George Conant and Laura L. (Hook) Conant. She was married to Donald Edgar Romine who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Gratiot United Methodist Church. She enjoyed yard sales, loved to go get a coke and cheeseburger with her sister, and spending time with family.

She is survived by three sons:  Dana, Shane, and Jack Romine; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters: Patricia Patterson and Laura Romine, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Romine, three brothers, Eugene, Robert and Carl Romine.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH, where a funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM Pastor Ron Griffin officiating. Burial will conclude in the Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot.
