Morgan County Election Results

In Morgan county, the Republican Commissioner’s race went to Michael Chapin winning with 60% of the vote.  Chapin defeated opponent, Dean Cain with 1,315 votes to Cain’s 865 votes.  Chapin now goes on to face Democrat Adam Shriver in November for the Commissioner’s seat.

In the Republican Treasurer’s race, Dawn Hosom wins over, defeating Shirley Bellville 69% – 31%.  Hosom received 1492 votes with Bellville only getting 663 votes.  No democrat has applied to be on the ballot for the November General Election to oppose Hosom.
