Morgan County Man Dies in Monday Accident

The Highway Patrol says a Morgan County man was killed in an early Monday morning two vehicle accident.  It happened on State Route 60, north of McConnelsville just before 4:30 am.  Troopers from the Marietta Post say 44-year-old James Norman of McConnelsville  was driving a 2012 Kia north on State Route 60 when the vehicle struck a southbound tractor trailer driven y 52-year-old Charles Haynes of Youngstown that was backing into a private driveway.  Norman died as a result of his injuries.  Haynes was not injured.  The patrol says the tractor trailer was hauling hydrogen.  None of the material was released from the vehicle.  State Route 60 was closed while the accident was investigated.
