Most Wanted Suspect in Custody

One of Licking County’s most wanted suspects has been taken into custody.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 47-year-old Ronald McElfesh was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Licking County detectives and members of the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Unit in Wheeling, West Virginia.

McElfresh was wanted in Licking County for aggravated possession of drugs, possession of marijuana, having weapons while under disability and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is currently being held in the Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville West Virginia awaiting extradition to Ohio. More charges are likely.
