Most Wanted Suspect Sentenced

A man formerly named as one of the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office’s weekly most wanted was sentenced in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday.

46-year-old David Scott Parsons of Zanesville was sentenced on one count of cultivation of marijuana with a juvenile specification by Judge Kelly Cottrill.

Judge Cottrill sentenced Parsons to two years of community control, counseling, six months of alcoholic anonymous or narcotics anonymous meetings, 100 hours community service and a $5,000 fine.

Parsons was named one of the Sheriff’s Most Wanted in September and was apprehended shortly after.
