Motorcycle Hits Parked Car

A motorcycle driver lost control and slid into a parked car near the intersection of West Muskingum and Pine Street Saturday.

According to Patrolman Kyle Brookover, a group of motorcycles was heading westbound on West Muskingum. One of the drivers lost control after hitting an object in the road and slid onto its side, hitting the parked car. The driver of the bike sustained very minor injuries and was not transported. Zanesville Fire Department, Zanesville Police Department and Genesis Community Ambulance all responded. The driver will be cited with failure to control.
