Motorcyclist Taken By Med-Flight

A motorcyclist is taken by Med-Flight to the hospital after a crash in Coshocton County Monday.

According to Trooper Stephen Williams with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, it happened shortly after 5 p.m. on U.S. Route 36 in Warsaw.

Trooper Williams says a48-year-old Amy Shaw of Warsaw was driving a vehicle westbound when she attempted to turn into a gas station and struck an eastbound motorcycle driven by 46-year-old David Matthews of Dover.

Matthews was taken by Med-Flight to Akron General Hospital.

Williams says Shaw was cited for failure to yield when turning left.
