Multi-vehicle accident on I-70 East near State Street Exit

UPDATE: As of 5:50 p.m., Interstate I-70 was back open to traffic.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– The State Highway Patrol said Interstate-70 East near the State Street exit is closed due to an accident involving two semi trucks and another vehicle.

It happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. Monday near Milepost 153.

Initial reports indicated that there were no injuries involved.
