Multiple short-term road closures this week
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced multiple projects it is undergoing this week in Muskingum County.
Starting Monday October 27, multiple ramps will be closed on I-70 for bridge inspections. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The 6th Street on-ramp and Maple Ave./SR60N exit ramp will be closed. That is exit 153B.
Then from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Maple Ave./SR60S on-ramp and 5th Street exit ramp will be closed. That is exit 154. ODOT recommends using the State Street on and off ramps (exit 153A) during this time frame.
On Tuesday October 28, Driving lanes and an on-ramp will be closed near State Street.
From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the Westbound driving lane and the State Street Westbound on-ramp will be closed.
Then between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. the Eastbound driving lane will be closed with no ramps affected.
There will also be a closure on State Route 555 south of Cannelville starting Tuesday. A different portion of the road will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day with the road re-opening to traffic each afternoon at 4:00 p.m. This closure is for multiple culvert replacements.
Tuesday the road will be closed between the intersection of Wilson Rd. and Elmville Rd.
Wednesday the road will be closed between the intersection of Elmville Rd. and Haver Hill Rd.
Then on Thursday between the intersection of Haver Hill Rd. and Pletcher Hill Rd.
The detour route will be on State Route 669 to State Route 60.
