Muskingum Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities presents award

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- WHIZ Media Group received a special award.

The Muskingum County Board of Developmental Disabilities awarded WHIZ Media Group with the Partner of the Month award. Jordon Searls, the Director of Administrative Services with the board, said the board gives this award out each month to a business or organization in the community that supports people with disabilities.

“You guys do so much for the county board, the Starlight program, from all the people we serve. From children to adults, you guys are always there. We call you and typically get a response the same day and we appreciate working with you,” said Searls.

WHIZ Media Group strives to make a positive impact on the community and is proud to receive this award.

“On behalf of WHIZ Media Group we are extremely honored to accept this award presented to us by the Starlight industries,” said Jacque McClelland an Account Executive at WHIZ. “We really value our relationship that we have with them…whether it’s news, some marketing, production, employment, whatever it is, we always want to be here to help them.”

The board began giving out the Outstanding Partner Award six months ago.
