Muskingum Co. Election Results

Results are in for Tuesday’s elections in Muskingum County. The following results are final and unofficial.

In the race of Zanesville City Council three people are being elected to serve. Winning their race is Karla Frye, Joey Pennybaker Osborn and Mark Ballmer over Cody Petit.

Muskingum County electric aggregation failed to pass.  Muskingum County Gas Aggregation also failed.

The City of Zanesville electric aggregation passed and the the gas aggregation passed.

The Muskingum County Center for Seniors .5 mils for 5 years levy passed with 13,138 for and 11,088 against.

Dresden’s 3.8 mills levy for 5 years current expenses passed with 260 votes for and 187 against.

Village of New Concord .75 percent safety and general services passed with 279 for and 260 against.

The Village of Norwich electric aggregation passed as did the gas aggregation issue.

The Village of Philo 2.5 mills levy for 5 years for current expenses passed with 116 votes for and 60 against.

The Village of Roseville 3 mills/5yrs fire department for equipment maintaining, purchase and facilities passed.

The Village of South Zanesville 2 mills for 5 years police department equipment and personnel failed with 192 yes votes and 208 no votes.

The East Muskingum School District 1 mill for 5 years emergency requirement levy passed. While the 1.3mills/5yrs emergency requirements levy is also passed.

Zanesville City School District 3.2 mills/5 years emergency requirements passed with 3,306 votes for and 2,280 against.
