Muskingum County Center for Seniors updates their bylaws

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Center for Seniors stopped by the County Commissioners Monday.
The bylaws at the Senior Center haven’t been reviewed since 2011, so Executive Director, Ann Combs, went to the Commissioners as a courtesy to show them the updated revisions.
Combs said they wanted to “show the commissioners the revision of the bylaws, which haven’t been done for quite some time. It was part of our strategic plan to go through our bylaws and make sure that they were up to date.”
Combs said some of the changes they’re making are hoping to increase the number of board members and looking at changing term limits for officers.
“Well T think what it’ll bring is just kind of an updating of what we’re actually doing for the services for our seniors and making sure that we’re clear in our direction through the board of trustees and make sure that we’ve crossed our T’s and dotted our I’s to make sure that everything is as it should be.”
Combs said she feels confident that these revisions will better serve their senior citizens.
