Muskingum County Commissioners Meet with County Auditor to Discuss 2026 Budget

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Commissioners met with the County Auditor to discuss and approve the 2026 Tax Budget.

Tina Huebner, the Newly Appointed Muskingum County Auditor, says this meeting served as an announcement that the budget has been approved and will be implemented next year.

“We’ll be moving forward,” Huebner said. “We will revisit most likely in either the month of October or November as the year comes to an end.”

Huebner says the 2026 Tax Budget is very similar to the 2025 budget.

She also encourages all County Departments to work efficiently and apply for grants when they become available.
