Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Dog of the Week; Meet Willow!

ZANESVILLE, OH – This Week’s Dog of the Week comes fully loaded with puppy energy.
Meet Willow! She’s a one-year-old red heeler mix who’s spayed, does well with other dogs, and is ready to find her forever family.
Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer with the K-9 Adoption Center, said the biggest thing to keep in mind with Willow is with her age and energy level, it may take some time to get her accustomed to your schedule.
“You might want to consider with her being all puppy, all the different things you’re going to have to do with teaching and doing many different things.” McQuaid explained. “In your household, we always talk about routines and what they would like to do when you are doing things with them.”
McQuaid said the Adoption Center is also still offering $25 cash microchips, with an appointment, and they still have food available for those in need.
“We also still have food available to anybody in the public who would need that.” McQuaid said. “So please, if that’s something you need, don’t hesitate to stop by and pick up some.”
If you are interested in adopting Willow or for more information, you can contact the K-9 Adoption Center at (740)-453-0273.
