Muskingum County Library System Pairs up With Zanesville Community Theater

The Muskingum County Library System is pairing up with the Zanesville Community Theater.

Anyone who shows their library card while purchasing tickets will receive half off admission to the hollow. Assistant Director of the Muskingum County Library System, Blair Tom, says there are multiple goals to the partnership.

"Well we are really focused on adding value to library card ownership. But also, our mission is to connect people with information, ideas and each other and our strategic plan brought to our attention that the community really saw an interracial role for the Public Library to play in promoting the local arts and supporting the arts and so it’s wonderful to partner with local arts organizations."

The play is based on an Agatha Christie Novel. Many of the Muskingum Country Library members enjoy mystery novels, so Tom explained the pairing was a perfect one. Tom told us partnerships with local arts organizations will be a continued trend.

"We are continuing to seek out and forge really productive partnerships that are beneficial to both organizations but most importantly, to Muskingum County Residents, so we really are focused on moving forward and building these partnerships."

The show will be going on October 31st through November 9th. To learn more you can visit the Zanesville Community Theater website: zct.org
