Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Assists in Arrest of Juvenile Suspect Linked to Columbus Shooting

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio — The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office assisted Columbus police this week in arresting a juvenile suspect wanted in connection with a September shooting. Around 7 a.m. Thursday, deputies and detectives from multiple agencies, including the sheriff’s special response team and the joint drug unit, helped execute an arrest and search warrant at a home on Timber Run Road. According to Sheriff Matt Lutz, the juvenile was taken into custody without incident, along with a woman wanted on a Delaware County warrant. Authorities also seized five firearms from the home, and a man living there was later arrested for a parole violation.
