Muskingum County Speedway ready for opening night

After rain washed out the first scheduled race of the season, Muskingum County Speedway is preparing for a restart this Saturday.
"The Memorial" is the first of four scheduled races at the track, which is now being operated by a local racing legend.
Hall of fame driver Donnie Moran, known as the "Million Dollar Man" for famously taking home the largest cash prize in dirt track history, is serving as full-time promoter.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m., main gates open at 5, hot laps start at 6 and the racing begins at 7. Four races are scheduled for the evening with a $2,028 prize up for grabs in the late model race.
