Muskingum County’s Jason Adams Attends DNC

ZANESVILLE, OH – Jason Adams is currently on the convention floor at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, representing Ohio’s District 12.

The event is a significant gathering for the Democratic Party and has brought together delegates and supporters across the nation. Adams earned his spot at the convention after delivering a speech during a party caucus, where he was elected by his fellow Democrats to serve as their delegate.

“It’s an amazing experience for somebody my age to go to a convention like this and meet high ranking officials who are putting efforts towards changing the state and our country for the better,” DNC Delegate, Jason Adams said.

As the event draws to a close, Adams is looking forward to hearing Vice President Kamala Harris deliver what he expects to be a hopeful keynote speech.

“I’m expecting to hear more of her message of joy and hope. We can move forward if we elect her, and I’m sure that she’ll get that point across,” Adams said.

The DNC concludes after August 22nd, but for Adams, this experience marks the beginning of a renewed commitment to political engagement within Muskingum County and District 12. For more details about the convention, visit the website linked below.
