Muskingum football off to best start in half a decade
NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Al Logan’s Muskingum Fighing Muskies haven’t started the season this hot since 2011.
The Fish are 2-1 following a blowout, 28-10 win over conference rival Marietta on Saturday. The Muskies’ first win on the season came in the opener against Waynesburg, 17-16.
Muskingum enjoyed a 4-0 start in 2011 before dropping the final six games of the season.
The Muskies look to keep their winning ways alive on the road versus Heidelberg. The Student Princes are 2-1 on the season, coming off 42-14 defeat to John Carroll.
