Muskingum Libraries Welcome A Storybook Christmas Theme

The library is looking forward to some holiday events that tie in with the storybook Christmas theme.

Stop by the John McIntire library to see some talented art on display made by students from Zanesville High School as well as students from Julies Artery. Assistant Director of The Muskingum County Library System, Blair Tom, says there are plenty of holiday reads available at all library locations.

"We have a display of holiday books at the front of John McIntire Library. At our other 5 locations they’re throughout the library, each location does a display. And that changes, as items are borrowed, we refill it. So, you can find a variety of resources and a variety of formats at any of your six locations."

Tom says they’re looking forward to family night with magician, Dave Lehman, who will be at the John McIntire Library on Monday, December 15 at 6:30 p.m.

"The family night program, with Dave Lehman on Monday December 15th, is really for all ages. He appeals to a wide range of audience, from the very young to adults, and has a great following. And it’s just a great fun family evening at the library, free of charge and you can register to attend by contacting the children’s department."
