Muskingum Recreation Center changing memberships and extending hours

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-  Muskingum Recreation Center will be expanding its hours and changing its pricing.

The recreation centers new hours are Monday through Friday 5 A.M. until 9 P.M. The weekend hours are now 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. The new hours went into effect this morning. Membership Development and Training Manager Michele Gross said the extended hours were in response to current member feedback.

“Over the last couple of months we have been gathering and analyzing data,” said Gross. “Based on some surveys that we sent out to our members both past and present. From that information we want our memberships to be more value based.”

MRC has also announced changes in membership prices. Gross said prices will now be less than they use to be. She said memberships will now be inclusive.

“Includes childcare ,while our members are here at the facility working out, as well as to include classes,” said Gross.
