Muskingum Recreation Center Hosts 4th Annual Red, White & Run Event

Katie McNeil, Membership Director, said it’s a great event to get people active whether you want to just walk, run, or race. Registration is only $25 and if you sign up before June 17th you will be guaranteed a t-shirt for the race. The race will begin at 8 a.m. in front of the Muskingum Recreation Center.

“It’s a great event to just get the community together on the day of independence,” said McNeil.

McNeil said she’s expecting a big turn out considering how last years event had over 250 participants.

To register for the run you can visit muskingumrecreationcenter.org or stop by the rec center and pick up a form.

Due to the amount of community involvement in the event, McNeil said that if anyone is looking for sponsorship, get in contact with the rec center for more details.
