Muskingum Recreation Center offers Membership Referral

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local fitness organization is celebrating their third anniversary this year by starting a referral program.

On March 31, 2017 Muskingum Recreation Center will kick off the new membership referral program and Membership manager Michele Gross said they’ll also be welcoming back past members.

For each new member referred the referring member will get $10.00 off each month for ten months, which will save the current member $100.00.

“In addition to you know building that community,” Gross said. “Times are hard sometimes. So we just really want to reach out to our community members and offer them an economic savings and while at the same time keeping them fit and well.”

According to Gross the member that was referred will receive the same deal as the current member but also get their initiation fee waved which is an additional $100.00. So the new member will actually be saving $200.00 total.

“Well wellness is the key here,” Gross said. “So our community wellness is the key and it’s benefiting everybody by having that wellness being apart of our lives and having the cost savings as just an added perk more than anything.”

The past members who’d like to rejoin will get the same deal as a new referred member. So past members will also be saving $200.00 when re-joining.

Gross explained that existing members have the opportunity to get their membership free of charge. The only limit is there is no cash back.

“So essentially the more people you refer, the more you save and the better it is for every body,” said Gross.
