Starlight Industries Hosts Open House

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Muskingum Starlight Industries Incorporated hosted an open house Thursday.

We toured the facility which offers a variety of programs from culinary, computer, and shop classes.

“We’re hoping that family members and community members come out and see all the wonderful things the Muskingum Starlight Industries offers to adults with developmental disabilities,”CEO, Mary Thompson-Hufford said. “We really appreciate all the wonderful support from the community. It is the community’s support that allows us to provide these services to adults with disables.”

The open house featured refreshments prepared by starlight’s culinary students.

“Muskingum County is one of the leaders in the State of Ohio with employability. Statistically, [Muskingum County] have more people employed than any other county. We support 54 people in community jobs. We have at least 25 additional people that are currently looking for employment,” Thompson-Hufford said.
